What Is YunoSurveys

Yuno is an online reward survey site that connects you to different kind of surveys and rewards you when you complete anyone.

They stand as the middleman that brings people together with market research companies and big brands who want to improve their products and services through the opinion of people who use these products.

Yuno is owned and operated by Dalia Research GmbH, a research company located in Germany.

How Does Yuno Work

To get started with Yuno you will need to signup and create an account with them.

Sign Up Process

This process is pretty fast and easy as you just need to click on the signup form and enter your email or phone number then submit.

You will be sent an activation email that you will need to click on to get your account active.

Once in you will need to fill their profiling questionnaire, this allows them to know which exact surveys to send across to you.

You will also need to verify your email and phone number at some point before you can receive any reward. So if you are the type that doesn’t like giving out your number, this survey site may not be for you.

Taking surveys

Once you have access to your dashboard you will see the available surveys that you can complete to earn points that can be converted to egiftcards.

Unlike most other survey sites like Prizerebel or Swagbucks that provides you with lots of surveys to choose from, Yuno seem to have very limited surveys on the dashboard

They provide you with 3 different surveys to choose from, and if unfortunately, you do not like any of those ones, you do not have the option to choose another one.

For example, when I log in through the website, the image below shows how the surveys are displayed, they come in 3 categories…

Only available surveys on my dashboard

Nice And Easy Surveys

Surveys in this category will earn you not more than 40 points and can be completed within 10 minutes and are classified as easy to complete surveys.

Golden Middle Surveys

Surveys in this category will earn you anything between 50 points to100 points and can be completed within 15 minutes and classified as moderate to complete surveys

Maximum Surveys

These surveys pay anything from 100 points upwards and can be completed from 30 minutes upwards too. As the name suggests, they are the more difficult and time-consuming surveys.

So you have the opportunity to choose from any of these 3 surveys presented to you and for each one, you complete you will earn the reward.

You can also complete surveys by clicking on the link on any survey email that they will send your way.

Yuno is a point-based system so they reward you in points that can then be converted into gift cards. So you will need to accumulate points till you get to the payment threshold of 700 points before you can request for a reward.

The types of Gift cards available and the amount each one can be exchanged for varies depending on your location.

For example, here in the UK, a £5 Amazon gift card is worth 700 points.

Unfortunately as at this time Yuno does not offer any cash rewards for surveys completed, though they claim it will be available soon.

For me this is a great downside because I believe like me most people will prefer to receive monetary rewards over gift cards or what do you think?

The types of Giftcards available include:

>>>Amazon Giftcards

>>>Reward Link UK

>>>Prepaid Virtual Master Card

>>>Visa Prepaid Card

And you also have the choice to choose from various other choices :

>>>Bath and Bodyworks

>>>Bed Bath and Beyond

>>>Nintendo eShop

>>>PlayStation Store

>>>Xbox Digital gift

>>>App Store And iTunes

>>>Walmart Giftcards

>>>iTunes Giftcard

>>>Best Buy

>>>Xbox Live Gold

And lots of others.

Ways To Make Money With Yuno

First Survey

The first money you will make will be the very first survey you will receive once you have created your account with them, this survey is more of a profiling one which does not need screening out and this will qualify you for a 50 points reward.

Completing Surveys

You will receive surveys through email that you will need to follow the link in order to complete them, for every one of them you are successful with, the amount will be deposited in your Yuno account and for the ones you get screened out from, you will receive 1 point as compensation for your time.

Or you can go directly go to their website and complete from the offers they have for you.

Another thing to note is that you can sometimes be redirected to another website to complete surveys if and when Yuno does not have surveys that are a match for you, but it’s up to you to decide if you want to complete this or not.

Daily Reward

This is another great way for you to bag as much as 100 points on a daily basis. All you need is simply to complete at least 4 surveys within 24 hours.

The 24 hours count will start once you complete your first survey for the day then any other three within that time frame will qualify you for the points. There is an indicator on your dashboard that will display your progress.

Referral Scheme

Yuno offers you the opportunity to invite people with a unique link that will be given to you once you signup so that once anyone clicks through that link and register with them, they receive 50 points and once they complete at least 3 surveys, you will be awarded 100 points.

How Much Can You Make With YunoSurveys

From what we discover so far,

for about 10 to 15 minutes surveys is 50 points

15 to 30 minutes survey is 50 to 100 points

and for 30 minutes and the longer, you get 100 to 120 points

And if we have 700 points to be £5

then 140 points equal £1 Which means our highest

Which means even the highest paying surveys are less than a pound as we can approximate

120 points to about £0.86p

So you have over 30 minutes of a survey just paying you 0.86p

Having in mind that this does not include the time it takes to answer the screening questions that qualify you for the survey.

Screening questions are the main reasons I am dispassionate about surveys because they can be a real time-waster.

You can see yourself answering screening questions from surveys to surveys and spending over 15 to 2 minutes but never qualify for any of them or worse still you can get screened out even midway or towards the end of a given survey.

It’s something that confuses me about most survey websites till date, because once you signup with each one they make you complete a profiling questions where they ask you to fill countless of questions about you so as to be able to present you with surveys that are your match.

Why then do they still have to bring you these surveys and still ask you to go through screening questions? Doesn’t make any sense to me. Which is why I will rather stick with these Top 5, they are so hassle-free…

And if you are in the UK this is another great one you must try CitizenMe

Is YunoSurveys Worth Your Time

Well, I guess this depends entirely on you and what you really want. Do you want to spend countless hours to make pennies?

Do you have all the time to invest in taking as many surveys as will be needed to reach that payment threshold of 700 points no matter how long it takes?

Are you happy giving your opinions and data to help companies better their products and services?

Above all, are you okay with just receiving gift cards instead of cash as a reward for your opinion?

These are a few of the questions you need to ask yourself to decide if YunoSurveys is worth your time and effort.

YunoSurveys Complaint

Even though Yuno does have quite impressive review ratings on TrustPilot, there are still a few complaints we did like to bring to your attention.

Some users have complained about receiving a lot of surveys but never qualifying for anyone. I do believe this is a general problem with most survey sites as these researchers are very specific about the type of people they want to complete their surveys.

And location can also contribute to this as most companies want opinions from people who are living in more advanced countries where their products and services will be more in use.

Secondly, some users complained of not receiving any more surveys when they got close to the withdrawal threshold and this means they have been stuck where they are for long not being able to progress further.

The one that really concerns me the most is having ones account closed for no specific reason or no evidence to prove that person violated their terms. but on the other hand, most of these sites make it clear in their terms that they can close your account at any time which means you cant contest it.

here is an example of one user whose account got shut down and he lost access to all the money he had accumulated.

In Conclusion

Is Yuno Surveys a scam?

No, it is not, you will get paid for taking surveys once you reach the withdrawal threshold. But for me, I think the most important thing now is if it is worth your time and effort?

And like I said earlier, you need to put those factors we listed into consideration and then decide if you are okay making so little with so much time invested.
