What Is CitizenMe About

CitizenMe is an app that allows you to get paid instantly for taking very short and quick surveys

It allows people and companies to come together to share information for mutual benefits

It provides a platform through its app, where you can give your views and demographics to market researchers who want to improve on their products and services, and in return get paid instantly

Unlike other survey sites, CitizenMe stands out in three unique ways;

You get paid instantly once you finish a super quick survey, directly into your PayPal account

You never get to fill in your demographics over and over again to determine if you qualify for a survey

You don’t get screened out of any surveys

These three things, in my opinion, make this app a better one to try out than most survey sites

And the best part of this is that they don’t store your data! Your data is stored on your Phone and is made anonymous before leaving your phone/ being exchanged, as a result, your identity is well protected

What Is CitizenMe About

once your account is active

You will gain access to your member area

Where you will see different activities denoted by different colors ;

Green: this is used to represent all paid tasks, every survey you complete on this section will be rewarded

Dark Blue: this is called ” insights” this one is more about you (demographics). You get to take surveys on personal activities you partake in

For example, you may be asked a few questions concerning your insurance, energy bill etc. And every data you provide will be used in building up your medata profile.

And the more information your are able to provide, the better chances you have at getting more surveys

What Is CitizenMe About

Light Blue: this one is tagged “fun” for those personal surveys you answer but don’t get paid

Red: tagged “donate” this are surveys that are donated to Charity organisations for their research purposes. You also don’t get paid for these

How Much Can You Make

Given that their surveys are very short, quick and easy to answer, the pay isn’t also that great as you earn between £0.10 – £0.20 on most surveys but they are literally less than a minute

And on rare occasion you may qualify for those that can earn you up to a pound or two at most (£1- £2)

And such ones lasts about 5 minutes.

So you won’t be making that much at the end of a month, probably less than £50 depending on how much time you have, to put into it and how often you get paid surveys

So you most certainly won’t be making much, but the idea is to combine this with other money making platforms and you can see yourself making a reasonable amount over a period

Payment: Like I said earlier, you get instant payment to your PayPal account, there is no payment threshold, no minimum or maximum amount you are allowed to make

You can also activate their push notification

So you get notified when there are available surveys, or you keep checking in..

Citizen me actually looks really awesome as a side hustle! The list of pros are substantially long compared to the tiny list of cons, and despite the income earning potential being small, as something to do when you’re laying awake in the middle of the night unable to sleep, it offers better value than scrolling through facebook until you’re sleepy again!

    admin · April 27, 2019 at 5:59 pm

That’s a good one Josie, I love that concept of making little extra income to wasting time on Facebook. At least the money will account for your time.

Great article, I’m glad I found this article because a cousin of mine is looking for something to earn something extra
Your analysis is detailed and complete. Not left with many questions. I wish that I had it Years ego. How much money can she make?

I wish you success with your site

Isaac · April 20, 2019 at 2:45 pm

I don’t really like citizenme, you get paid way too little to call that an extra income in my opinion. It is barely enough for a lunch.

But all in all, very informative article. Just needed to read this to be sure I wasn’t wrong. Haha

There are far better options then Citizenme in my opinion, you just gotta look for it.

    admin · April 27, 2019 at 5:54 pm

Lol! Right Isaac. I guess it’s every man to his flavours.

What works for you may not work for me, it’s all about knowing what you want and going for it

That is why at the end of the review, we still added a recommendation you can look into  if you don’t find Citizen to be what you are looking for.

You can check it out here, may probably be what you need.

Thankyou for putting together this review on CitizenMe. I gave up a long while ago on doing surveys for cash, quite simply because you have to do so many to earn anything remotely useful. I still believe they are all a scam. Especially some of their social media recruitment ads that imply you get a lot of money for completing surveys.

I haven’t heard of CitizenMe before, it actually looks worth some further research, which I will do now that you have brought it to my attention.

The data these online surveys collect is also an issue for me.

Thank you for the information.

    admin · April 27, 2019 at 5:49 pm

You are welcomed Loiuse. You can definitely check them out. They are a lot different from other surveys sites. They do not store your data, do not screen you out in between surveys nor do they have any payment threshold to be met before getting paid. So it’s worth a try .

RoDarrick · April 20, 2019 at 2:54 pm

Thanks so much for sharing this insightful and I formative post. This isn’t a bad way to add up a few bucks and definitely I won’t mind trying it out. Though, most surveys are disappointing. They would promise credibility but ends up disappointing. I still have my earned coins and cash with some because I was unable to withdraw. I like the fact that my funds is secured in my PayPal account directly. Thanks for sharing

    admin · April 27, 2019 at 5:47 pm

Yes Rodarrick, with Citizen you won’t have to worry about not being paid, as your earned money goes straight to your PayPal account within minutes of completing the survey.

You don’t even have to wait for 30 days for the survey to be approved before being paid nor do you have to worry about being screened out in between survey.

it’s a great way to do surveys and earn a little extra

LeNard Simmons · April 20, 2019 at 3:11 pm

Thank you, for sharing your review about CitizenMe. I have never heard of the program, but I am interested in how you get instant PayPal payments.
Off the back, I like that you don’t spend a lot of time trying to qualify to see if you can take a survey; like other survey sites, I have tried. There is nothing like wasting time to find out you won’t be able to participate in that survey because you were, as you stated; screened out.
Do you only make money on the Green?
Are you saying the more personal information I provide will help them decide what type of survey to send me?
I notice in the payment section of your post, you use pounds. Can this program work for people in the USA?

    admin · April 27, 2019 at 5:42 pm

    Hi Simmons, thanks for dropping by, and to answer your questions ;

    1. Yes, the surveys that come in green button ate the ones you get paid for

    2. Yes also, the more you let them know about you, the more you are most likely to get more surveys and the ones that are most tailored to you

    3. Yes, you can use it from the US, it offers surveys to lots of countries. I used the pounds symbol because I am in the Uk and payments are made here in pounds.

    Hope this answers all questions.

Matiss · April 30, 2019 at 7:23 am

I have to be honest. I was pretty sure that solid survey sites (money earning sites by filling out surveys) were a lost cause. Never have I before encountered a proper survey site that did not struggle with either payouts or even more often than that – getting screened out of surveys after you’ve actually spent time on them (to complete them).

In that sense, I have only been encountering survey sites that struggle with at least one of the three things you mentioned in that intro of CitizenMe.

But turns out there are actually great survey sites after all. Ones that are willing to consistently pay you (though small amounts but still awesome) if you put in consistent work. Fascinating. 🙂

Thank you for all the insights, my friend!

Have a Great One!

    Thank you too Matiss.

    Thanks for your contributions too

Rasa · April 30, 2019 at 7:24 am

I just loved all the pros of the CitizenMe. In my opinion, it’s pretty perfect as a survey app for a quick buck. I believe this is why many people searching exactly the type of thing would be very pleased with it. I’m definitely glad that there are proper survey sites out there as I have been wasting my time with many that aren’t.

On that same note though, that last section of your article truly intrigued me. Surely I would love a thousand extra pounds a month. And free access for some affiliate training sounds really awesome. It might be my kinda thing. Will check it out.

Either way, I really appreciate you!

Have a Wonderful Day!
