What Is Smart Dollars Club About
Smart Dollars Club is a website that claims to help you make over $300 on your first day of signing up with them to take surveys, exclusive deals and part-time work offers.
They promise you a bonus offer of $100 survey once you sign up with your email.
And that is exactly what we did just to discover if there is any truth in their words and below we share all our discoveries with you…
How Does Smart Dollars Club Work
To get started with this website you will need to follow the following steps
you will need to signup with just your email, and they will send the supposed bonus survey that will help you make $100 instantly.
But in our case, once we signed up, we received a message confirming that our application has been accepted and the link to claim our $100 bonus was included.
What we found strange was the congratulatory message on our application being accepted because as long as I can remember we never made any application but notwithstanding we decided to check the link out
And you won’t believe what happened next!
We were taken directly to a survey website known as Ipsos- isay!
And not only that, this website now required us to signup with them as a new member( with no reference to Smart Dollars Club that directed us to them)
Which means we were as good as new members that stumbled upon their survey site.
And the most annoying part is that there was no indication that we were getting any bonus from signing up with them.
They only claimed that once we’ve signed up we will have the chance to win a $90 prepaid MasterCard.
Imagine that! A chance to win $90 prepaid card, but this was supposed to be a survey that will bag us $100.
The information alone they needed for just signing up is another story on its own and besides, I prefer survey sites that will pay me cash, not one that only gives out gift cards and virtual MasterCard at most as i-SAY does.
Secondly, I wasn’t interested in signing up with more survey sites and spend countless hours to earn pennies, so we decided to let this pass.
We got sent another survey link which was supposed to make us $150 and upon clicking on the link we were taken to another survey panel.
So it was obvious that Smart Dollars Club was just referring us to different survey sites to sign up and complete surveys on those survey sites terms, apparently the $150 they flash on our face is just to get us to go sign up with those survey sites without wasting any time at all.
The survey site they sent us to this time around was LIfepoints Panel, but unfortunately, the page would not load no matter what we tried.
We tried to run the URL of the page directly on another browser and the image below is what we came up with.
Although we are familiar with the website (Lifepoints Panel) since it happens to be a survey site we have participated in some time go and even written a review on, you can check that out here.
Lifepoints is a legit survey site but also like every other typical survey sites out there. You don’t even get to earn $150 a month completing surveys with these sites let alone making $300 as Smart Dollars Club guarantees you.
Receive Customised And Exclusive Offers
According to them once you have signed up and completed your bonus survey, you will start receiving exclusive offers from them.
It turns out that their so-called exclusive offers are just hammering you with different survey sites to sign up with to earn money. But they do not have any hold over how these survey sites work.
Once they have directed you to new survey sites, you will have to signup with each one individually, follow their rules and regulations to earn money.
The worse part of this is that most of these survey sites they send your way are regular surveys sites with nothing better to offer you, they couldn’t even afford to get the best ones there are.
On further digging into this website we discovered that a lot of people have had different experiences with them, while some claim they were sent directly to scam websites, others claimed of being sent to betting/gambling sites and some other regular survey sites (though we didn’t encounter any of those).
Based on these different encounters by people, we want to believe they send people to different sites depending on your location/region.
They didn’t say anything specific about how much you will need to accumulate before cashing out and I guess the reason is very simple…
Because they won’t be paying you any penny, they aim to get you to as many websites as they can, so they can’t be bothered about how you are paid or if you are even paid.
Which means they never had your interest at heart, and here is what their real intention is…
How Smart Dollars Club Really Work
Smart Dollars Club like I said earlier does not have your interest at heart, they are not here to help you make any money let alone guarantee you $300 daily.
This system only works to benefit its owner(s). They only want to take advantage of innocent people like you and me to make themselves richer.
Here is how they make money off everyone that signs up on their website:
First of all, they are affiliated with all these websites they send people to (scam and legit alike)
Which means for every person they refer to any of those sites they earn a commission from the sites.
Now imagine when they send 100s of unsuspecting people to all these sites, you can imagine how much that would earn them.
So they just use their alluring hyped income claims and free signup to lure people into signing up with them, then they send these people across to all these other websites and make money from every one of them that signs up.
Data Harvesting Scheme
People are excited when they learn something is free and they throw caution to the wind and dole out their information without a care in the world, because they don’t believe they have anything to lose since it was free to signup.
But the truth is that these people are very cunning, and this tactic is what they use to gain access to peoples details.
At the very point you sign up on their website, you give them access to your email.
They sell these email lists to people who want to build their database for marketing purposes or even to scammers.
And before you know it you will have your inbox bombarded with unsolicited emails.
And if you are unfortunate to have filled out some offers that required your credit card details, that leaves you at the risk of getting hacked or even expose you to identity theft.
So it is a total win-win situation for them. They have absolutely nothing to lose by offering you free membership
It will cost you nothing to join Smart Dollars Club except of course your data.
- Nothing positive here at all, even the free signup is just a bait.
- Data harvesting scheme
- Hyped income claims
- Not what they claim to be
Is Smart Dollars a scam?
Yes, it is in our opinion.
The fact that they lure you in with free signup and $100 survey bonus but never deliver, and not just that, they claim you will earn $300 from the very first day you signup with them but then you will realise that they don’t even have control over anything and just redirects you to other websites which makes them untrustworthy, so we won’t be recommending them.
And I hope for your safety you stay away from this site, it will only cause you trouble.
But Here Is The Thing…
Making money online is possible
