What Is MindsPay

MindsPay claims to be an online-based survey panel that rewards its members for giving their opinions and feedbacks, taking offers and testing products and giving their reviews on such products.

They claim to bring different offers from advertisers to their members to complete the ones they fit into and get paid. In essence, they stand as the middle man between advertisers and the consumers.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t find anything about who owns and operates this site. I guess they just want to remain anonymous or so.

How Does MindsPay Work

To get started with MindsPays you will need to register with them, then complete offers and other activities to get paid. The system works in the following steps:

MindsPay Sign Up Process

unlike other survey sites that will sign you up and then present you with offers, MindsPay is the very opposite.

Right from the very beginning of the signup process once you input your name and email, MindsPay will require you to choose from different offers ( other surveys sites for you to register with) that they will present to you, as offers that you prequalify for.

They will encourage you to sign up with at least 5 of them with just a click of your mouse, but the discouraging thing about this is that these so-called survey sites are nothing but promotional offers from advertisers.

For example, they had an offer that requires you to sign up to Cruise On Royal Caribbean International to receive special offers.

Which means once you agree and sign up with this offer you are exposing yourself to spam emails. these kinds of offers will only bombard you with endless emails on Cruise offers, so except you are into cruising and needs a bargain, this will end up pissing you off.

A lot of people who are not familiar with things like this will happily sign away with the hope they are going for more survey sites to make money but will get disappointed in the long run.

After going through this, you will move to the next page with more offers to select from before finally completing the signup process.

you will receive an activation email that you will need to click on to fully activate your account.

This gives you access to your MinsPay member area.

Completing Activities

Once you gain access to your member area, you will have a lot of offer displays on your dashboard but you will be disappointed to realise that most of them have nothing to do with giving your opinion and feedback to get rewarded.

But rather they are mostly advertising offers that want you to sign up and try their products or services or those that are giving you the chance to fill out some information to qualify for the chance to win something.

The bottom line is that you will feel like you are just being taken advantage of as most of these things hardly pay you anything reasonable, and to make matters worse you will be supplying them with your details in every one of those offer sites you register with.

Which means you should expect unsolicited spam emails and calls.

For example, you could be asked to take an offer that requires you to fill in some questionnaires for the chance to win a $1,000 gift card.

This will seem exciting and harmless to try out but until you get started you will realise this is just a way to get access to your personal data to different advertisers and your reward is just a chance to win $1,000 gift card. What are the odds that you will win? duh!

You will realise that even though there are so many surveys and offers available, the majority of them only leads you to one advertising offer or the other that won’t really help you make much money just like any other regular survey sites.

Payment

The type of activity you complete will determine the amount you will make. Each one will show you you how much you can make and the duration of the offer.

The payment threshold is a huge $50! I mean that is massive. In the world of today where people are so eager to lay their hands on their rewards as soon as possible, I believe this to be a huge downside to MindsPay.

The only payment method they have for now is PayPal which is a great way to payout.

Payment time is supposed to be twice a month but from our research, it appears that it takes way more than that to receive payment after requesting for it.

Ways To Make Money With MindsPay

Surveys

One thing to note is that most of these surveys available on MindsPay is not directly from them or other research panels, you will find out that most lead you to another advertiser where you will have to follow their instructions and complete what they have in store for you.

Most of these survey offer pays between $0.50 to $1.50. So once you complete this the amount will be deposited in your account.

Paid Offers

You can supposedly take paid offers to make as much as $50 but when taking offers like this you must make sure to read the terms and conditions that come with them before proceeding so that you don’t get sidetracked.

The Truth Behind The paid Offers

when you go through the offers in the member area of MindsPay you will see that most of the offers that promise you up to $50 are the ones you will have to make payments for.

Now many people get excited when they see this type of offers not considering that these are “Paid offers” which means you have to commit your own money before you can make any money from them.

Not only this, but the amount of money you will be expected to commit in any offer will also be closely related to the amount you will make.

For example, if an offer which is mostly subscription-based needs you to pay $45 to get paid $50.

Then this offer may state that you have to stay subscribed for yet another month after the trial period, which means you pay $45 and Make $50 but in essence, you are only making $5.

Because you sure need to take back the money you invested and then what is left is the true value of money you make.

So do you get to make up to $50 for taking paid surveys? I don’t think so in my opinion. paid offers come with payments attached and as long as this is so, there is no way the real value of what you make will be up to $50.

MindsPay Surveys

Paid Emails

You can also make money by engaging in their paid email offers, this is where they get to send you promotional emails that you have to click on the link and visit the site doing the promotion to be rewarded.

Rewards for paid emails are always in cents and they claim you can make up to $0.25 for reading these emails but most times it isn’t up to that.

this is because you don’t really have to perform any basic thing aside just clicking on the link to open the offer, you are not required to engage in it hence the very low payment.

Referral Scheme

this is one other way you are expected to make money with MindsPay. Once you join you will have access to a unique link that you can use to invite people to join.

When someone signup to Mindspay through this your link and completes offers to hit the $50 payment threshold and requests for a payout, MindsPay will reward you with 10% of that referral’s earnings.

although this is not cash directly paid to your account, once you become a member you are in for the chances to receive free coupon vouchers and codes to use against your shopping.

Membership

It is free to register with MindsPay, you only need to be a US resident and over 18 years of age.

Pros

  • legit site
  • you can earn a couple of dollars
  • various promotional offers available
  • PayPal payment available
  • free coupons and codes

Cons

  • There are more promotional offers/surveys to actual regular surveys
  • To earn something reasonable you will need to engage in paid offers
  • hyped-up system

In Conclusion

Is MindsPay  Surveys a scam? No, it is not in our opinion. But the truth remains that this site is more like a promotional site than real survey site where you get paid for your opinion.

Which means you will see yourself completing more offers on their partner sites than actually giving your opinion and feedback in exchange for cash.

Which is why even though it is legit, we do not recommend it. besides the payment threshold of $50 is another huge factor not to find the site appealing.

I mean in this age there are so many sites that will pay you at a lower threshold and offer you real surveys to take and receive rewards rather than having you give your data over and over again to third-party partners for cents.

And with these top survey sites available I don’t think you need to waste time with MindsPay but then that is our opinion, it still comes down to you to make yours.

From what we’ve provided you here, it now depends on you to decide if this is okay for you or not.
