A Moment Of Prayer – Taking Our Worries To The Lord.
A Moment Of Prayer
Come unto me all you that labour and are heavily laden, and I will give you rest
Hi! Thanks for taking the time to join us in this moment of prayer.
We know that the ongoing pandemic has somehow affected our lives one way or the other and at times like this, we all need something to hold on to or look up to, we need hope, we need faith and we need a lot of patience to carry us through every stage of whatever this is.
Being on lockdown, isolated or bundled together with strangers due to circumstances, we all must be facing our share of frustration and constant fear.
The good news is that we do have someone who we can always look unto when it all comes to a standstill.
When it feels like we are falling apart, I mean… this pandemic and being on lockdown has put a lot of us in financial mess, and health risks, not to talk of loss.
And God shall wipe away all years from their eyes; And there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away.
For those of us who have lost someone at a point our heart reaches out to you, we know no amount of word can bring them back or change your situation but be comforted that they have hopefully gone to a better place.
Whatever it is your going through right now, I don’t want you to leave this page feeling down or depressed but lighthearted and comforted that we have a God who truly cares for us and wants to help is come through every trial and tribulation, if and when we let him.
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me you might have peace. In the world you will have tribulations but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
So in the silence of your heart with all hope and trust in him, let us offer a moment of prayer to our God.
Let Us Pray
Our heavenly Father, we want to thank you for your grace and protection upon us so far. We want to say sorry for every way we have gone astray and come short of your glory.
Father, forgive us all our sins and have mercy on our nations in these troubling times. Help us to remember that you are always here for us, to help us through each step of the day.
That no matter the trial and tribulations that we face today, you will never leave or forsake us.
Bring comfort to those who have lost their lost ones in the cause of this pandemic.
And divine healing and restoration to as many as are struggling and battling to stay alive.
Thank you for those selfless people who put themselves out there daily to ensure our safety.
We pray oh Lord for those who have lost their loved ones during this season, for comfort and fortitude to bear their loss with hope that they are resting in peace in your Bosom.
Look down upon our broken world in your mercy, And let your peace reign again upon our nations. Amen
Isaiah 54: 17.
No weapon that is formed against you shall ever prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment thou shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.
Praise & Worship
Psalms 34, 100, 111, 118, 135.
And whatsoever you do in words or deeds, do all in the name of the Lots Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name Oh thou Most High.
But thanks be to God, who always causes us to triumph in Christ, and makes manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
I will praise, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are your works, And that my soul knows very well.
But those who trust in the Lord will have their strength renewed. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.
The Lord is my strength and my shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of Thanksgiving.
So let’s not get tired of doing what is good, at just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.
They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.
No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lots will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will never again you nor abandon you.
Faith And Courage
This is my command – Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord, your God is with you wherever you go.
And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him.
The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles.
The Lord replied – I will personally go with you Moses and I will give you rest, everything will be fine for you.
God Blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterwards they will receive the crown of Life that Godhas promised to those who love him.
Depressed And Discouraged
Are any of you suffering hardship? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praise.
1 Peter 5:7.
Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.
Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.
The temptations in your life are no.different for what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.
For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the fast wasteland.
Guys, we know that this is a very trying time and we all find our little way of coping with the situation.
I just want you to always remember that no matter how overwhelming things get especially having to spend countless hours Locked in together.
Don’t get me wrong, I know its fun to spend time together as a family but let’s face it spending close to 24 hours together daily will sometimes bring out the worse in us.
Especially for those of us who have cute little ones turning the house upside down and leaving you with a total wreck of a home, or those dealing with difficult members of their family.
Things are difficult as it is right now but I implore every one of us to try to be as patient as possible with one another, show more love and less grudge and above all keep faith and trust in the Lord for he will surely see us all through this phase.
Well, have a lovely day you guys and if you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask.
